The Sound for All Occasions

Based in Hobart, we play at a number of fundraisers and community-based functions throughout the year (see Calendar), including:

• ANZAC Day marches
• Christmas parades in Hobart and Oatlands
• Regional fairs at Bream Creek and Middleton
• Cruise ship "meet & greet"

In addition to full band performances, the Band can also provide solo pipers or mini-bands to add something special to any event. We are available for all occasions, whether weddings, funerals, corporate events, parties, fairs…

The Band has a broad repertoire of marches, slow airs, strathspeys, jigs, reels and hornpipes. The Band can perform a combination of Scottish favourites and more contemporary pieces, including some Irish and Australian tunes. Drill and/or dance can be incorporated into the performance to suit the occasion. The duration of performances can be varied to suit the event. A typical performance is of 10-20 minutes duration.

Fees are negotiable and dependent upon a number of factors (including distance from Hobart, duration of event, etc) but indicative figures (as at April 2009) are as follows:
Solo $150
Mini Band $350
Full Band $500
